I just purchased this awesome mower two months ago; along with other fantastic Cub Cadet products. I have used this powerful mower every week; and enjoy it more every time. It is well built with a solid frame deck. Mine has three mulching blades that do a wonderful job on any lawn. The 0 turn feature, on this easy to operate machine, cuts mowing time, greatly. The adjustable driver's seat is very comfortable, with armrests, and a beverage holder. I have also noticed that this mower is very good on gas. I can see many years of satisfaction and enjoyment with this, and all of my other Cub Cadet products.

Time saver!!
Just bought this and used it on about 3 acre lawn. For background it it fairly flat but clay based so quite bumpy of a ride. Usually it takes me between 5 and 6 hours to mow, depending on how fussy I am on that given day!! lol They dropped the mower off and it had .2 hours on the meter. I cut the entire lawn the way I would in a fussy mood!! When I was done the meter had only 3.6 hours on it. I wasn't using a stop watch but I believe that to be an accurate time frame. This was a minimum 2 hour savings!! I noticed 3 things that factored into this faster time. First my old mower also a Cub Cadet was only 42" and this being 54" a full foot wider mean less trips around the lawn. Second It travels slightly faster then the old mower, again cutting time. Most impressive was the ability to cut around trees etc. We have a nut orchard with many trees and with the old mowers it was a series of 3 point style turns for each tree!! The SX54 was easily able to cut around them in one motion. This was the biggest time saver for our property. I am certain I can save even more time as I get more familiar with this machine. Overall I am very impressed with the SX54. I also have 3 suggestions that might be helpful to owners. 1. Manufacture a removable/replaceable Rub Rail for over the rear tires. I found myself rubbing trees etc by turning too tight. Rub rails would protect the mower and trees! 2. I would have liked to see in the operators manual, a section from a professional grounds keeper who used this mower to provide some tips or tricks on the best use of the SX54 (help build skills for the non pros). 3. Either a more fuel efficient engine or a larger fuel tank. I can cut my lawn with my old mower using one tank of gasoline while I used two tanks with this unit. Keep in mind that I didn't check the level on the first tank?? I went with the information from the dealer that they would fill it upon delivery.

awesome machine
I bought last aug and put away for winter indoor storage and took out 2 weeks ago. I brought machine to my dealer Todd's and showed they the front 2 small tires that where CRACKED and they took pictures and send to you. Still have not heard back from you via Todd's dealership as of today. The tires are cheap quality if only good for 3 months use. Please answer your dealer and hope to have replaced with better front tires than ones that crack after 3 months use. Otherwise love the machine and very happy with its performance

Awesome Machine!
I bought this new one year ago, I thouroughly enjoy mowing now, the zero turn feature and reverse set up makes the job simpler easier and faster, and it has lots of power, it goes faste4, and it does a super job! I wouldn’t go elsewhere looking for one. The dealership in Weyburn where I bought it was tremendous and helpful, and wouldn’t let me take it home until I knew everything sbout it. Also, no sales pressure! I highly recommend this mower!

Very Nice machine
We have had 4 of these machines. Wife loves the steering wheel. My biggest issue with it is the pedal for reverse. It is a bear cat to use. Awkward positioning on the manufactures part. Improvement on that is something they could look at. Other than that I wouldn't buy anything different. Then I would give 5 star rating.

I’ve had my sx 54 3 years now not a lick of trouble with it very easy to service excellent quality fast and very stable I mow 1-1.5 acres of lawn with 2 very steep hills and it does an excellent job

Excellent mower!
