Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed My snow blower got delivered on December 5 and was put together i was happy for that but on our first storm of the year things changed, as I was plowing my drive way I noticed my blower started shaking and getting stuck the wheels were dragging as I tried to make it to my garage to check it out the right wheel first popped out then the left wheel so I was stuck in my driveway with both wheels off had to drag the blower into my garage so disappointed with this blower. I will say I'm in the process of returning it with the help of Brian the store manager who was very apologetic his great customer service helped to ease my pain of this terrible nightmare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed and powerful snow blower [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well designed machine, very powerful engine and great ergonomics. My last snow blower (different brand) had some design deficiencies that are addressed here. The chute controls are actuated using a cable vs. a rod. The rod design gave me issues on my last machine. There is also bracing that goes from the handles to the body of the machine, making the handle and controls area much more rigid and less prone to distortion when you push down on the handles to lift the auger off the ground (essentially any time you go to move it when not blowing...). Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Engine seems very powerful I bought this snow blower Saturday December 19th of 2020 and to my surprise the pictures I was looking at before I purchased it didn't do it no justice when I saw it on the showroom floor waiting for me the build quality seemed and looked so heavy duty and amazing thereafter I took it right out of the showroom loaded on my trailer brought it home and went right to work it went through over 3 ft of snow untouched like it was nothing although I am reading some of the reviews and I am still a little nervous about it but so far it has been nothing but a beast very impressed by it I was contemplating between this and the Arians deluxe 30 in but I got what I got right now and so far I am very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality. Powerful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this since October 2020. They shipped to me after a few weeks. There was a nut to hold handle missing. I called customer service, they sent me a replacement right away in a few days. Out of the box, it was easy to put together without any adjustments. The engine is powerful, it always starts at first pull. Last week, we had a storm with about 6 inches of snow, with hard heavy wet snow push into my driveway from plow trucks on the road. It was easy to finish the job. Save me a lot of time if I use my 25 year old 21 inch MDT. I finished 4 driveways really quick. Before I picked this model, I did a lot researchs, went to stores to look at different brands and models. Also I used different brands from my neighbors to help them clean up their driveway. I ended up with this because the quality, design and features. I am very impressed after the first storm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not balanced correctly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good solid snow blower. There's too much weight on the front of the machine and it will tire you out. Cub Cadet should look at other ways to distribute the weight more evenly so the operator can utilize the machine without struggling with it. Powerful machine. Love the heated hand grips and extra lights. I wouldn't recommend this model until they figure out how to make it user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beefy, high-performing unit. I bought this the day before a snow storm in New England. Not having owned or operated a Cub Cadet product in the past, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, 12-14 inches of wet, heavy snow proved to be a cake walk for this haus. It threw the slushy mess a good 25-30ft on 3/4 throttle. The directional triggers took a little getting used to but no big deal. In fact, I believe I like the manual directional controls over the automatic controls on the Ariens I previously operated— much more crisp turning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wheel assembly fell apart on first usage [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit thinking the Cub Cadet brand would bring quality parts to the table - but within 30 minutes of my first real use in the snow, the wheel assembly fell apart. The design of the main wheel axle is a two part design with left and right gears attached to the shaft with woodruff keys. What stops the axle halves from sliding out of the their holes are bushings that have a thin spring clip wrapped around a groove in a bushing. This 1/16th of an inch spring clip prevents the axle assembly from sliding out of the main housing. I'm not sure if I had a failure in the woodruff key or the spring clip, but within 30 minutes of use, my right wheel basically slid out of the main chassis. Ok, I'm mechanically inclined, so I figured I'd open it up to find out what was going on. I was dismayed to find out how the unit was engineered and have no easy access to replacement parts - nor do I feel confident that if I was to get replacement parts that it wouldn't just happen again. Looking at the parts diagram I'm also disappointed that the clarity of the diagrams isn't sufficient to know the order that the various sleeves, bushings and washers go back together in. Luckily, my other wheel is mostly still assembled so I'm hoping the wheel that comes off is a mirror of that wheel. The engine seems great on this unit and the heated grips and controls are fantastic. But, the frame and connecting components are clearly a lower grade of metal and engineering that what I have come to expect from Cub Cadet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible, wheels fell off I have the same problems as everyone else. How does an expensive machine have the wheels just fall off. Club cadet response was I would have to take to an authorized repair shop. Their attitude was oh well. In the mean time I have no way to clean my driveway. I only used four times, but since I bought it in September, I am passed the return policy.
