Great Snowblower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just picked up this model and assembly couldn’t have been easier, had it together in 15 minutes, checked the oil, put gas in it and she started right up, ran her for about 30 minutes before changing the oil, so far so good, just waiting on the snow now !

GREAT SNOW BLOWER.
Bought mine in November 2022. Very happy with it. Easy to maintain, and to make adjustments to any of the components. Just follow the owners manual. I did make one modification improvement. I permanently mounted the ice / snow shovel bracket onto the snow intake scoop; the bracket is only snapped in, and would get removed when I needed the ice shovel. In doing so, I removed the snaps, drill two 1/16” holes into the bracket where the snaps were originally attached. Then I used two #6, 5/15” would screws with two small washers to hold the bracket. Doesn’t blow snow.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So it snowed today. 4” and wet snow. I used my Cub Cadet 26” for the first time since I replaced my Honda single stage push blower. The Cub Cadet blows snow about one foot and clogged. I had to do most of my driveway and walk with a shovel. My Honda I sold (HS720) would have gone right thru the snow and thrown it 10-15 feet away. I thought I was making a big upgrade with a two stage but that is not the case. Cub Cadet needs to put a disclaimer on their website and marketing material that says only works in dry snow.

Good blower with lots of opportunity to improve.
This unit does a great job of moving snow a long way away from the driveway, reducing the likelihood of future deep drifts. However, there are a number of things which could be improved: The chute rotation control crank should be several inches higher. The chute angle diverter control moves way too hard and the angle of the handle exacerbates this issue. The top of panel speed and diverter controls sit nearly horizontal and in a recess which allows snow to build up so that you can't see the notches. The traction hand lever requires too much force to hold down. The oil drain pipe should be at least an inch longer. I don't need headlights, couldn't they be optional? The height guides don't adjust easily, especially in the back when pushed all the way down due to the way in which the blower housing pieces lap.
I do like the steering assist, but wonder how much maintenance they will require down the road.
Lastly, I was very disappointed in the cost of the extended warranty and maintenance program recommended by the dealer. Over the seven year recommended life of the program I could do the maintenance myself at a greatly reduced price and have saved nearly enough to buy a new blower.
