Honest Unbiased Review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For part time business use, I have had this unit for 4 weeks now with 12 hours on the counter and I couldn’t say anything more amazing about this machine. The cut quality is great and I always get compliments on the mini stripes it leaves. The power for somewhat tall dry brush, around 18” mowed it down without bogging on the highest setting. With tall grass as that was, you do still need to go over the area 2 times as a minimum to get it to cut evenly which is to be expected. I can’t say enough good things! You won’t regret your purchase

Problem Solved!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my CC800 for a month and have 4 or 5 cuts under my belt. It took a bit to get used to but after the 3rd cut I've got it down pat. This is a machine and powers through my thick lush lawn with ease. My previous mower was the Toro 30" Timesaver...no comparison to the CC800 not even close. The finished lawn looks absolutely beautiful.

Solid Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about a month ago and have used it 4 times. Does a great job on the lawn, takes a little getting use to operating it. Has plenty of power and is easy to clean, deck wash works great. key to smooth operating is putting it in drive slowly, so it doesn't jump. Only con for me that kept it from getting 5 stars is where the gear change is, it's in an awkward spot. It shifts easily from 1 to 4 but from neutral to reverse, you have to lift up a bit on the handle. Like everything else, practice will make perfect in getting used to the operation of this solid machine. highly recommended.

Pitiful waste of money
First the positive:
1. Starts quickly and easily. 2. Beautiful cut on the grass.
Negatives:
1. Tracks awful. Continuously pulling left or right with no rhyme or reason. 2. Gearing: first and second are too slow for any use. Third is a low comfortable pace. Fourth is too fast for any value. 3. Very hard to turn on corners. Don't even think about using for this machine for first trimming pass. 4. Front wheels jump off the ground each time drive is engaged in third or fourth gear.
Overall, this would get a one-star rating if the grass cutting wasn't so good. Do not buy unless you are 250+ pounds and want a good upper body workout each time you mow.

Overall great mower but...
Love the power the engine has and never had a problem with it until 6 months from purchase. My drive went. So it's been at the authorized dealer for warranty repairs for 4 weeks. I live in Florida and thank God it is the winter or my grass would be up to my knees by now. I hope the fix works, just disappointed in how fast something broke.

Didn't like it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it as a scratch and dent. It has a stamped deck and did not cut as I hoped. My unit has some off brand engine and ran okay, but I was concerned as with most cub cadet stuff now, that they use the Chinese "knock off" engine. The drive unit seemed okay, but over all the unit had a cheap feel to it. I sold mine after an hour and a half as it had already thrown the blade belt once and twisted the deck when the blades impacted each other. I did see that they reduced the engine size again and went back to a Briggs and Stratton engine. This is in no way shape or form a commercial grade mower. I bought a Billy Goat.

I want to love it.
I want to love it but cub cadet makes it impossible. Their support is absolutely one of the worst. My clutch cable broke. This is only two years old. I bought a new one from them and they don't send any instructions on how to put it on. This should be a 10-minute job. three days of attempting to get to support to answer where does this spring attach is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor find a company that wants your buisness and is there when you need them. this company is not it

CC800
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful engine. Heavy and a bit of a handful, but it’s perfect for my bumpy somewhat hilly 1.2 acres.
