Steering wheel! Not handles.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to my surgeries (neck& back) the Steering Wheel and the Zero Turn Capability, was the answer I needed... in early 2014; when I purchased this unit. Surprisingly, I've only seen two others in the field, so to speak. Service wise, nothing at all... followed the directions, done. Kept it resonably clean, good blades, simply put, paid attention. I'm a lot older now (65+) and really don't understand why there isn't more of these tractors "out there", especially in my age group. Cub Cadet did a wonderful job on this mower and I guess "folks will be folks". Ditto.

Great to ride, great to work with!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 15yo Cub Cadet with the newer model a year ago. I have loved using the older model, it is a 46" Zero turn with the 20hp Kohler V-twin. It was serviced well and cared for, and has never let me down. I replaced it with a similar 44" Zero turn with the 22hp Kohler v-twin. The newer model is a bit lighter and more compact which is more nimble to mow with, although you feel the bumps alot more. It runs smoothly, is easy to work on and service, is very fuel efficient, and is a quality domestic/light commercial machine in my opinion.

I love my RZT-S
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife loves driving this because it's not the conventional zero-turn. I can relax, listen to a podcast or enjoy a drink and keep on cutting. With a traditional zero-turn, if you aren't using both hands, you aren't cutting grass.
This is a zero-turn but I don't think it turns as fluidly as a traditional zero turn, though it will turn on a dime.
However, I know my wife and kids would eventually use this as well and I'm very happy with my purchase. My neighbor has the exact same mower and loves it.
Zero issues on my 3rd summer in.

Quite happy with my 42" RTZ
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second summer with this great mower. It's the perfect size for my hilly half acre. It's very stable running sideways along a fairly steep slope. Front steerable wheels make this possible.
This mower is also fuel injected which gives it instant capability...no more cranking it over and over to get fuel up to the carburetor.
My lawn is fertilized all summer and is quite thick. This mower has no problem slicing thru it and also is very good at mulching leaves in the fall.
I'll be getting another whenever this on wears out.

Great mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower has cut down my mowing time by over half the time while providing a perfect cut no matter what height I mow. It’s been dependable and given me great service, I love how quiet it runs, no hearing protection required for this one, it also economical on fuel, I can mow my entire yard and still have fuel left. If you are thinking of purchasing Cub Cadet I would say what are you waiting for do not hesitate, you will be happy you made the purchase.

Beats standing behind such mower!!

Mulching sucks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mulch plug is garbage, Grass gets stuck in the interface area 360 degrees around plug. No reason for this. If the fit sealed this would not happen. Next there massive grass on top the deck. Easy to under stand. The spindles are x pattern with massive hole around them. Why air just flows up through the hole with grass on jams up the top on the deck. Just wrong You will never keep the deck clean of grass. Massive waste of time clean the mower every mow. I should have bought some else like the exmark. At least its deck was fabricated and had no holes blowing grass on top the deck. under the plastic deck covers. A micro mulch blade like used on a Honda would have been nice to. Maybe should bought the xt1 or xt2 with the fast attach.

Easy to steer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing that is not right. When the engine is on a compression stroke, it will not turn over to start, this does't happen that often. So when it does I have to open the engine compartment turn the top of engine by hand to get it off the compression stroke then it will turn over, but I love the Cub Cadet It handles well, cuts good. Easy to maneuver.The handling is close to the Zero turn mowers.

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 4 years ago and have enjoyed this tractor. It is easy to maneuver and mows at a good speed. The grass is mowed very well and looks great. The only issues I have are that the plastic parts of the tractor can come loose due to the screws tearing the attachment hole when bumping a tree. The deck has also bent with wear and tear.

Very tough with a nice cut

I have ~ 1 1/2 acres to cut ranging from a small field to by a creek and get great performance all the way through. I expect a lot and Cub Cadets have been very reliable for me over the years!

Strong machine

The ability to back up while the blade is turning speeds up my work greatly. The blade housing cleaning feature keeps it running efficiently. Now I am considering a new snow blower to match.

A bit awkward

It is a bit awkward to drive around the yard, as a result I have been forced to hand mow several areas before I can mow the lawn. Also I seem to damage edging, downspouts, or gateways every time I mow.

Hardy mower

one option i woulh love is a strimmer fitted to one front corner so you can strim along the wall as you mower can be driven buy a electric clutch with a button on one leaver love if you could make one

I love this mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My RZTS42 is perfect for my 1.5 acres. My mow time is 1/3 what it was and not a single breakdown in 5 years of ownership. When I wear it out it will be replaced with another Cub Cadet zero turn. Mowing the grass is actually fun now.

Easy Rider Mower

Easy to drive

Best purchase I have ever made

Reliability

Good mower

Best Mower Ever
