Excellent control/clean cut
I was skeptical of the wheel design as I’ve only had experience with lap bars or walk behind/stand-on style in the past. I took a chance as I was looking to move away from push mowing my lawn and taking over two hours. I had a decent slope near a fence in a section and was concerned about losing control of the front casters in a lap bar setup. I now have 35 hours on the unit and it’s well worth it for perfect control and no chance of turfing during turns. It maintains great control even in damp situations. I’ve since added a bagging kit and the cut quality when bagging is even better. Taking the deck off and cleaning occasionally is well worth it and relatively easy once you do it once. Overall very happy and it has changed my perspective on being just a red machine only person.

Working very well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first riding mower, bought it specifically to help me tackle the hill in my back yard. I was concerned due to the steepness of the hill, but this model stood up to it pretty well. I like that the front wheels Have tread rather then the slick wheels on the other lap bar models. I’m able to mow most of the incline, still using a push mower for the border though. Would like to get the bagger but I’m not happy about other people’s comments about it not working well. Therefore 4 out of 5 stars, but recommend the mower.

Fantastic for hills!
I own 1 1/2 acres. 2/3 of which is relatively flat and 1/3 a steep bank. I’ve never been able to get any of my old riding mowers to mow the bank....until now. My new RZT SX 42 handled those hills as if it were no problem at all. It is built tough and built well! I am impressed to say the least!

Great value and design
Mowed many acres and hours with this. No problems at all. Steering with only one hand is a fantastic feature. Only changes desired would be better quality tires and better mulch attachment for deck. Tires seem to cut or puncture easy from thorns and thistles. Factory deck attachment for mulching does not stay on. Modifications required.

Mostly good
I have used just a few times. Putting gas in seems to be the biggest challenge. It accepts it slowly. Holding up 5 gallons of gas I'm pouring it in a slow as it goes in. The gas can gets heavy. That's the only complaint I have

Great mower!
I bought this mower middle of August 2019 and since then have 6 hours on the motor. It is a beast love the mower more than enough power to cut brought thick wet grass with ease.

Great features, leaves great cut and ease of use!
Bought this Cub Cadet Zero-turn nine months ago and have never been as pleased or happy to mow, and get great results! Smoothest mower I have ever used and has great power. The front wheels could use an upgrade, but very pleased!

HAPPY SO FAR, BUT COULD BE BETTER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HAVE MOWED MY 1 AND 1/2 ACRE YARD TWICE SINCE I PURCHASED THIS MACHINE AND IT HAS DONE A FAIRLY GOOD JOB OTHER THAN IT SEEMS TO LEAVE A SLIGHTLY HIGHER RIDGE DOWN THE CENTER OF THE CUT. IT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE I AM PUSHING IT ON THE FORWARD SPEED AND IT IS MORE NOTICEABLE IN THE AREAS WHERE IT IS MOSTLY SWEET CLOVER. I WAS CUTTING ABOUT 4 INCHES OFF THE GROWTH. OVERALL I LOVE THE DESIGN AND I AM SURE I WILL LOVE IT MORE AS I GET USED TO OPERATING IT.
