Terrible design
I bought the Cud Cadet with a 54 inch fad deck and I was very satisfied with it until I purchased the 3 bag bagger,,This turned out to be 600 dollars of frustration..followed all instructions but came to realize the attachment of the boot to the deck is a large joke. Have tried several things to keep it attached and nothing helps. If your lawn is bone dry and doesn’t really need to be cut it might not clog. Have tried everything slow travel speed ,raising the deck heigth and only cutting half 5he width of the deck. Before I bought his bagger I read all th Dre views and thought since this was a Cud Cadet it couldn’t de that bad I was wrong 600 dollars wrong!!! Now I’m stick with a poorly designed piece of equipment that will sit in my Barn till I throw it out. I have several pieces of Cub Cadet equipment and I really expected more from them..

Buyers Beware!!
I read some other reviews on the bagger system as a whole and thought I've used baggers before, it can't be that bad. I said I'll give it a try, I can make it work. I WAS WRONG. This is the absolute worst thing that I have ever used. I have used it once a week for the last month and a half, so a total of 6 times. It only worked well 1 time. That's over 75% of usage that has been the worst experience I've had. I bought a brand new XT3 GSX, a 54" Fab Deck, this chute, bracket and hardware, and the triple bag system needed. The 25 HP Kohler in the GSX combined with the 54" Fab Deck work perfectly together, throw this unit on and aggravation begins. This thing clogs with every pass I make. It is a poorly designed system, especially for a 54" deck. Anything over a 50" deck should have some wort of power assist with a blower to throw the grass up the chute and into the bags. Cub Cadet should be ashamed and embarrassed by this design. It is obvious that the engineers that designed this unit did not have consistent functionality in mind when they did so. With my old 23 year old Cub Cadet 3165, I could mow my property in 1.5-2 hours. It now takes me 4+ hours with this horrible unit. I love the tractor and deck, but I hate the bagger system as a whole. I will probably try to get rid of it, or just trash it if I cannot find a way to fit a power assisted unit to the deck. That being said, if I cannot find a way to make this combo work for me, I will probably trade this tractor in and go find something that has the option for a power assisted bagger. I am very disappointed in Cub Cadet, which is sad because my last tractor was 23 years old that I bought used, and loved it. This is way I went with Cub Cadet again. I am reconsidering my choice already. Very frustrated and disappointed!!

No directions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kit, for my cub cadet 54” fab deck. I did not get any directions with it. Were they lost in the shipping? I thought I would be able to figure it out. I guess I am not as smart as I thought I was. The chute is not as intuitive as I thought it would be.
