Gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 2X 26" TRAC Snow Blower from Cub Cadet for my husband as a gift for his birthday and he tells me this is the best gift I have ever bought him and he is so grateful for it. We live in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania and we get a lot of snow all winter and my husband has gone through so many snow blowers, all of which have broken down or don’t do a good job at removing snow. But now with this new snow blower, he is done in half the time. The snow blower is self-perplexed and gets the job done. Thank you Cub Cadet for creating such a great piece of machinery that has simplified my husband's life and mine.

So Far, So Good
I live in northern Michigan alongside Lake Michigan, We get lake effect snow almost every day, This winter we have been getting large snowfalls. My smaller Toro which I had when I lived downstate was just not up to the task. Plus my driveway is gravel and too much material got thrown on to the lawn. Plowing wasn't any better. The solution - the Trac 2X 26 snow blower. The machine is great. It eats up deep snow, does it at a quick pace, and throws it a good distance. Even wet heavy snow. Even the high hard berm the snowplow leaves at the end of the driveway. Like the heated grips, they work well. I am a fan of the electronic engine speed governor. The engine seems to have enough torque to maintain rpm even when loaded by deep or heavy snow. This is my first Powermore engine, so we'll see how it fares as time passes.
What are my gripes? With about 5 hours on the machine, the trac drive engagement lever sometimes doesn't fully disengage when released. Most likely just an adjustment which I will address. The other is that shear pins snap pretty easily, but that is definitely preferable to breaking something more expensive.
So, all in all, I am totally pleased with my machine. So much so that I plan to replace my 1998 Cub Cadet 2135 which still works perfectly. (Giving it to my son.) with an XT1 or XT2 this spring.
Let me also say something about my dealer, Gene's Power Equipment in Coleman, MI.
They are tops. They treat you like family and do their best to meet any need you have.
I am, and will remain a Cub Cadet fan.

Snow Eating Beast!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned a 24" Trak 5HP Cub Cadet Snow Blower for 27 years (purchased May 1994) and used it hard. I just sold it 1/31/21 and it was still working perfect.
I am now a proud Owner of the 26" Trak drive and we just had a Blizzard in East PA of 27". I prayed for a good snow so I could try out my new Snow Blower and it was delivered!
This blower did not slow down. The powerful engine chugged right through the full depth of snow. Where the plows packed the snow was a little more work but it powered through that as well. The neighbors were fighting while I was enjoying cutting right though while enjoying my toasty heated grips that work fantastic.
The Tank Traks have so much traction compared to round wheels. I would never purchase anything except Traks. There are so many benefits such as adjusting the front down to cut through packed snow and plowed shut areas and adjusting the front up for transport or stone driveway areas.
The Electric start is cool but you need to run an Extension Cord in order to use it.
The shoot turns very rapidly and adjusting the angel is easy.
I hope I am around another 27 years to tell how well this Blower held up like my last Cub Cadet did.

Outstanding machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 winters I give it a 5 star. Works great, no slip on inclined driveway, starts so easy have never had to use the elect start, although I tried it to see how it works. Most of my other machines were hard starting until broken in some. Not this one! Starts like a dream manually. Buy extra shear pins!

Trac model is a Tank!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They should call this thing the 2 X 26" TANK. No Snow, Ice, or wintery mix stands a chance against this beast. Sometimes I run it with the choke slightly on just to not embarrass the other snow throwers on my block.

Impressionné!
Vraiment une belle machine , facile a démarer. Les trois marches pour monter sur ma terrace ne sont plus un obstacle. les commandes sont précise et bien placée.
Un peu lente sur la marche arriere , mais difficile a arrêter en marche avant. Même la neige durcie des chutes de neige précedente y est passée!! Mon meilleur achat cet hiver , j'ai déjâ hâte a la prochaine tempête!!
