Good so far
I was hesitant to spend so much on this bagger after some of the reviews, but here is my opinion so far. Installation was pretty simple, especially if you watch the official Youtube video for it. I just bought this in January here in Florida and my grass in not that high but we have a lot of oak and hickory leaves. This thing sucked all them up, it looked like I took a shop vac to the yard. The good- it works perfectly so far. The bad- the only negatives so far to me is first the price, and second, opening and shutting the top, you have to kinda of fight it a little to get it open, the little clasp on the right and the hook in the center make it a little aggravating, but it would not stop me from buying it again, because I like to be open to suck up leaves which it did great. Once the grass starts growing I will return to follow up on how it works for my grass pickup.

Poorly made
I bought this bagger 3 years ago and the plastic started to crack and break within the first season. Now that I've owned it 3 years it's broken almost to the point that I can no longer repair it. The chute is also falling apart and is mostly held together by tape. On top of that it plugs very easily. Very disappointed as the ability to get a bagger affected my decision to get this brand of mower.

Really Disappointed in the Quality
To be honest, I really love the mower, ZT2 50 but I have been utterly disappointed in the bagger. It worked for the first couple times and have had to result into just mulching because it's so poorly built. The last straw fro me was the latch on the side the snapped off while driving, yes... just driving. The bags weren't even full.
Save yourself some money and much.

I bought this roughly one month ago. So far all of the bagger clips have fallen apart leaving grass blowing all over. The bags have fallen off the ledge, dumping all over the yard. Very poor quality. I have an off brand bagger I use on another mower and have never had these problems. Bottom line I would not recommend especially for the amount of money it is.

Love hate relationship....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the bagger and it works very well. However, the latch, for lack of better description, that holds the lid closed broke off on day 1! Bungie chord has replaced it.
Also, the lid is 100% plastic, albeit thick. So i reinforced it with aluminium plates along the edged where it secures.

I am very disappointed in this product.
Low quality materials = low quality product
The mower is housed in a garage when not in use, hence, exposure to sun and moisture limited.

Nice add on
Nice bagger. I read lots of reviews before purchasing this. Several of them were negative. Im not sure why because i have had no issues with this product. I have mowed in all types of grass,even wet an it has never plugged up. This was fairly easy to install and the discharge tube is easy to remove if you want to mow without bagging.

Double Bagger Bonanza
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once assembled, it works well. Instructions for assembly are not for dummies (ahem). Bags fill unevenly. I have to trust that once far bag fills, the far bag will start to empty into near bag. I appreciate the counterbalance weights and how they assemble to the mower without drilling.

I was dirty upon mowing. Did not have that problem on other brand mower. I love my zt1 50 however the quality of the bagger is not the same standard.

Poor quality, expensive
If you like poorly welded parts and replacement delays, buy this. Missing the entire leaf cleanup season while I wait for another 5-7 days after it didn’t ship during the first 5-7 day window…no sense of urgency. Poorly manufactured parts + questionable QA processes + a lack of quick resolution = a very negative customer experience.

Great bagger!

We have used it several times now, the chute does not clog and the bags are easy to remove & empty. Very glad we purchased this!

I ordered this about 2 weeks ago after having an easy time putting it on not really. This thing will not stay on the tube comes off the bagger section at the drop of a hat. The section that attaches to the grass thrower gets clogged down within minutes. Other than all that it looks really nice when just sitting there.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! Clogs all the time. POOR DESIGN!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn’t work well AF all. Clogs up in the tube making me have to turn off the mower to reach down the tube where the blade is. Due to clogging consistently, it doesn’t pick up and goes on the ground. Poor design.

Bagger works great!

Very cheaply made
All the plastic on this set up breaks very easily. 1st mow the plastic tabs on the hood broke. Now after just a season of use the entire hood is broken. I’m hoping I can just buy the hood as opposed to buying the complete set up

Disappointing
There are too many poor reviews for this product. We bought the Zt154 and would like to buy the bagger. We love the mower but don’t feel confident that the bagger is worth the headaches that we have seen in the reviews.

Tube comes off and blows grass everywhere
You'd think they could build a better product. The clear tube doesn't secure to back part of bagger and comes off easily--it's supposed to screw in but it doesn't. Grass catching bags are lightweight and rather flimsy.

Horrible design
Only buy this if you are cutting 1/4 of an inch of grass at the most, if you take even a little bit more than 1/4 the shoot cloggs up and it is a real pain to clear it. I will never be buying a cub cadet bagger again.

Purchased this last year. One season and the plastic clips that hold the lid in place snapped. Do not believe any 5 star review. This product is a disgrace. Everything about it screams cheap plastic garbage!

Overpriced for the quality
The bagger holds a decent amount & it wasn't very difficult install. However, it clogs up easily and the flex tube cracked within the first week. Not real impressed given the amount of money cub charges for it.

Needs tighter seal

ZT1 54 two bag attachment
Installed in about 45 minutes. The double bag for my ZT 1 54 works very efficiently. Easy to empty both bags. I have a 1/2 acre lot with three maple trees with plenty of fallen leaves.

Quite happy!

I up sized from the 42" so it is mostly the same except for a fabricated deck. It works great on my property. Bought it at the end of the season so only got one cut with it so far.
