Used to replace Craftsman V60 battery
All of my Craftsman v60 batteries have failed and they are no longer available for purchase. But it's clear that the Craftsman is a rebranded Cub Cadet battery as they are identical in every way except for placement of a long tab on the top near the terminals. This is an absolutely maddening feature, because this tab serves no purpose other than prevent using the batteries in the other brand's tools - it's just customer hostility! There are two solutions to this: 1) you could grind off the tab with a rotary tool, file, or something like that. Or 2) Since I had an otherwise identical but dead Craftsman battery, I just swapped the plastic battery top (tamper resistant Torx screws, so you need a special driver set).
So far, after using it a few weeks, the battery has performed fine and identically to the original Craftsman battery - same charger, same tools, runtime seems the same. I just hope that's where the similarity ends and this doesn't fail prematurely like the Craftsman, which if you look online has happened to nearly everyone and is likely why Craftsman discontinued the line. Hopefully, since Cub Cadet is still selling these tools, they have solved whatever manufacturing defect (my guess is they got a batch of bad Lithium Ion cells and didn't perform adequate quality testing before using them) in the 4 years since I bought the Craftsman tools. Finger crossed!

Working Well So Far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been working well so far. Used it for about a month so far and charged it 4 times. Charge holds well and lasts longer than our previous battery. We bought it to replace our dead Craftsman lawn mower battery and I would recommend it for a more affordable way to solve that problem. Just have to swap the top with the top from your dead battery, so make sure you still have that.

Good battery at a good price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This battery can be used with Craftsman 60 volt yard equipment as well. You have to cut off a small plastic tab which is in a different location on Craftsman batteries. I have charged it with a Craftsman charger as well.

Cub Cadet Battery Saves a Craftsman Mower!

I’ve mowed a few times with it so far and it’s working great. Thank you Cub Cadet for continuing to stock this battery! I should be able to get a few more years of life out of my mower now. 😎

only lasts for one season..
Last year I was able to mow my entire .37 lawn in one charge. Now it takes 2-3 charges.

Nothing wrong with my batteries

Excellent option as a spare battery
