Terrible design and performance
Obviously the engineer who designed this never mowed a lawn. The mounting bracket is bulky and a pain to attach to the tractor. As the three bags fill, the entire load causes the mount assembly to tilt. I have added and changed the bolts several times but still the same result. The discharge chute assembly bracket keeps dislodging from the mowing deck. I had to drill a hole through the bracket and the wheel assembly and put a bolt in to keep this from occurring each time I use this bagger. I would not recommend this to anyone. It is a extremely terrible design. I rated it 1 star because this is the lowest number allowed.

Simply awful performance.
I’ve had this XT3 GSX Lawn Tractor for 3 years now. I’ve tried a dozen different ways to try and keep the chute from clogging. Unless your grass isn’t watered for a week and you wait until late in the day to mow, count on unclogging the chute every few minutes. I noticed they have power assists for some of the other models. Perhaps the commercial operators rate more consideration than regular homeowners. For what I paid for this I would expect a bit better performance. Totally useless if you want to bag your clippings.

Some Issues
I gave this a 2 star rating because when this part of the system works it works well, with the exception of one major thing. First, when you go to empty the bags you will be required to tilt the seat forward in order to open the top. This is not huge problem and one that I am willing to except. However, when you open the lid to the system, it falls off!! The rod that attaches the lid to the mounting hardware backs itself out and then the lid comes off. Its not too difficult to put back on, but every single time you empty the bags this happens, which becomes very inconvenient and annoying. This is just a bad part of the design instead of having a more permanent hinge system. Otherwise the whole unit is easy to remove and put back on the tractor when needed, but that flaw will require me to some how modify this $400.00 purchase that is only 2 months old and I have only used about 6 times.
