Plastic Ends brake easily and can’t find parts
I bumped something in my yard and the weak plastic end broke off. From reading other reviews this seems to be a common problem with these yet I can’t locate a replacement plastic end. If this is a sacrificial piece why are replacement parts not available??? Now my new tractor looks like garbage. Also there is a lot of play in the attachment I bought the guard mainly so I could add some lights without drilling into my new tractor which worked well but the guard bounces around more than i would like and there is no way to snug it down.

Durable and Heavy-Duty Front End Protection!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted some front-end protection for our new Cub Cadet XT1-LT46 Lawn Tractor, and after comparing this with single-tube bumpers, I decided on the FastAttach Front Brush Guard. Right out of the box, I was quite impressed with the quality of this attachment. At over 13-pounds (including the mounting hardware), this Brush Guard is heavy-duty and is made almost entirely of steel (with the exception of the polyethylene end caps). The mounting brackets and all of the hardware required for attaching the Brush Guard to the tractor was included, and installation took only about 10 minutes. This front FastAttach Brush Guard provides better protection than a standard single-tube bumper, and it does NOT interfere with opening or closing the tractor hood! Once the mounting brackets are installed, this Brush Guard and other front-end FastAttach Attachments (such as the Snow Plow) simply slide into the brackets and lock into place with two mounting pins and a couple of cotter pins - no tools needed. This was a very wise and affordable investment for our Cub Cadet XT1-LT46 Lawn Tractor, and I highly recommend it!

Attaching Front Brush Guard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Attaching the fast attach brackets were a little difficult for me as there is not a lot of room to get the bolts through and tighten. After brackets were on and tightened had a little difficulty sliding the one pin through, but eventually it was on. Very sturdy and nice tight fit. If everything lines up and you gave smaller hands maybe the 10 minutes it says, but I was pushing 45 minutes l.

"Nose Guard"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently added this front brush guard to my new "24 hp Cub Cadet Tractor." I must say, not a minute too soon either! After attaching to the front by means of the "Fast Attach system," I proceeded to mow for the first time with my new tractor. Still not used to the foot pedals, I accidently ran into a brick retaining wall. If not for this "Brush Guard," the "Nose" of my new "Cub Cadet Tractor," would probably need new parts! A true test of the strength of this "Brush Guard!" Not only does it look nice, but provides great protection! I would definately recommend this "Fast Attach Front Brush Guard!" I am impressed by the design of this attachment and the easy installation and removal from the front of the tractor. Just pull two pins and the guard is removable for other front end implements. I am hoping for a front attachable de-thatcher to be made available.

It was a learning experiance.
Received the new mower at my home crated up, upon breaking up all the wood and putting on the seat, battery and steering wheel it started up with on problem. Learning how it worked was interesting, i sucked up the rug i had in the garage but no damage except to the rug. After getting used to the pedals i enjoyed how it worked and drove. So far so good.

Not disappointed!

It certainly protects the front of the mower from any obstacles you get close to and it makes the front of the mower look tough.

"FastAttach" may be an understatement !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to attach and remove. A few people complain that the ends are plastic... I'll take the plastic, if damaged it is easy to replace. Once you bend metal that's final. I like the distance between the guard and hood assembly.

Great addition to an already attractive design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great installed. Is functional and protects against light brush, weeds, small branches. If you expect to be running into large trees, you should not be operating equipment. Find someone that can operate the equipment safely!!

Good so long as you are not too rough with it.
Great little attachment. Helps Greatly when going over larger brush/very small trees. My only qualm is one of the plastic sides has broken off already due to going in reverse and a vine catching it. Tore it right off. It is held on by only one screw from the inside top.
