Steep hills? No problem!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sister needed a mower but she has steep hills. We looked at tractors for the 4 wheel drive capability with 17k price tags. I was very skeptical of a zero turn because I had a John Deere zero turn about 15 years ago and it was junk that would spin on any incline at all. I gave it away because I would have felt guilty charging money for it. ANYWAY not that I’m bitter or anything lol. I took my sister up there because of them saying it could handle hills. It did! I’m in shock. They have a test area with very steep hills and it handeled them with no problems whatsoever. She was all slow and careful but drove the heck out of it on the hills. I have a craftsman riding mower which I like but when it wears out I’m definitely looking at these. I don’t have hills but I really like these mowers capabilities! Oh yea she bought the mower.

The steep hills machine
bought 2 years ago.
I've used zero turns lots in my life. NOTHING will hang on to hills (and not spin tires) like this steering wheel design. This ZTXS4 60 is a beast, its essentially a commercial machine for a bigger residential price. You also will not do better than 4 year 800 hour warranty. I put a spring seat on mine too... like on the ZTSX6

Best lawn tractor we never own
we bought the ztx6s 1 month ago for our farm, and we love it, it is solid powerful and the mowing quality is excellent. we have 2 houses and all the grounds of the farm to maintain. The cutting deck rises the highest of any other model thanks to its 24-inch tires, ideal for field entrances or the edge of ditches.
