Terrible Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plug is a terrible fit. It leaves large gaps that allow grass to blow everywhere, including up into your face. To make matters worse, the plug does not stay in position. It makes for a miserable mowing experience.

Kit works as advertised!

Multch Blades clump up on blade tabs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cover fits perfectly, however the blades do not cut perfectly. The grass clumps up on the mulch tabs of the blade and it won’t multch correctly. I will probably sharpen them up to a fine edge and try again

Design Not Quite There
The fit is not nearly secure enough with only the factory attachment. You'll have to add some screws or maybe zip ties to keep the grass from blowing all over you. I added a couple extra screws through the plastic, into the deck, and the results are acceptable.

Mulching kit for cub cadet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite dissatisfied with the amount of grass left in clumps on my yard. Not sure if id be better off leaving the original blades on. I love the cub cadet mower, but very disappointed in the mulching kit.

Mulch cover fits, blades dont.
zt1-50 2019. The plastic mulch cover fits the fabricated deck. The blades did not fit. The new blades have the "S"-type mounting hole, my mower has the 6-point star. I wish I could exchange these for 6-point 50in mulching blades for my 2019 zt1-50!

Mulching kit saves time and keeps lawn beautiful

Doesn't cut well

Mulch Kit for 50" deck
Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to modify the guard by removing some of the plastic flashing that fits up against the deck in order for it to fit properly. Seems like a flaw in the mold while making the mulch guard.

Must have attachment
This attachment prevents alot of the shoot out. I was using the mower withouth the attachment and I had a lot of debris shooting back and hitting me on as well as the side shute. The blades were easy to switch out.

Cub Cadet Mulching Kit Really Works
I have only used the mulching kit one time so I am still getting used to it. It still left some piles of tillage but not nearly as much as the regular blades for cutting grass.
