Doesn’t fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Attachment is built very strong but it doesn’t fit the fast attach brackets on my XT2, the holes do not line up perfectly where the Pins will go through, the unit came with another set of Fast Attach Brackets and the holes on them only line up partially on one of the brackets.

Great Snow Plow blade for my XT1
easy to assemble and very easy to add and remove from my XT1 as needed. Design is very good for snow removal as you can easily aim the plow blade left center or right to move snow off the driveway or down it.

Just install my plow in State sharpening which is cub cadet store.Up and Down cable is loose and to lower plow I must do by hand released safety no more adjustment

Plow working great, assembly was a challenge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly did take a while and unfortunately I had to assemble it in an unheated garage at 20 deg and did it by myself and it probably would have taken 3hrs but due to issue mentioned below it took an additional hour. All the parts were there but the RH side bracket bolt holes would not line up with the fast attach bracket. I had to re-drill one of the holes which took some time.
I adjusted the trip mechanism just as the manual states and have had no issues with it tripping too easy. it has tripped when I caught a paver or the raised ground next to the drive. I have a 150' gravel drive with a little slope so I wasn't sure how well this would work.
I have used it for 2 snows so far, one was an 8" snow which I plowed a little over half way through and again after it was over, This was a light powdery snow and the blade performed better than expected and I had no issues. 2nd snow was 4" of heavier wet snow which also plowed without issues. since I'm on gravel I used a half inch thick board to set the shave plate distance from ground. This left a nice base for the vehicles to drive on. the skid feet do want to dig in to the gravel a little too much but if you have a base already they glide right over. I put tire chains on back tires and have not had the need to add any weight to the back but if I do, I have the cargo carrier on the back and I will just put some weights on that. too soon to tell how this will hold up long term but it has turned a back breaking job by hand into an easy task.

Everyone seems to complain about the same issue...
The assembly and installation went ok, but the cable that releases the blade to allow it to raise/lower is adjusted to the max right off the bat, so I don't expect it will last very long before it cannot adjust anymore... a couple extra holes drilled in that pin arm for cable attachment would solve this issue. ALSO, the blade mounting bracket needs a bushing to remove the left to right slop... when the blade assembly shifts to the port side, then the cable doesn't have enough travel available to release the blade pin (it's constantly getting stuck in the raised position and I cannot lower the blade until I manhandle the blade assembly and shimmy it back towards the starboard side. Very poor design allowing such a huge amount of play, a simple bushing would fix this issue.
Come on Cub Cadet, two simple and cheap fixes required to solve the number one complaint in these reviews... step up already!!!

Beats shoveling!
Instructions were clear and installation was straightforward for anyone with a few mechanical skills and basic tools! Raising and lowering and angle adjustments from the driver's seat are very convenient. Will need to add tire chains to rear wheels for better traction. My wife loves it!
