Does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got our first snowfall this year, 6 inches of wet snow. Using this on my Cub Cadet XT2. 2 year old Cement driveway, would recommend chains or weight in the back end. I dont want to ruin my driveway with chains. Otherwise I was impressed with this set up. Recommend searching and watching assembly videos on youtube.

Not Perfect, but Overall Good Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works pretty well so far. It arrived shortly after ordering, which was surprising since it was December, when they probably get overwhelmed with orders. It was a little harder to install than I had anticipated. One of the mounting holes didn't line up without extra persuasion. The lift and angle controls aren't always easy to get to work exactly as expected. It takes a little man-handling to get them to operate at times. The spring that came with the unit was broken, but the company promptly sent me a replacement. Overall, I really like it, especially when I see how long it takes my neighbors to do their driveways with a shovel or snow blower!

Not impressed so far
I recieved this as a Christmas present from my wife. It took about 3 hours to put together and I really want to like it but as soon as it hits any snow more then a couple inches it folds forward. Today I used it for the 3rd time since installing it on my xt1 and the lift bar broke right where it bolts to the blade...... highly disappointed

Plow angling tricky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plow works pretty well so far. Used twice under 3” of snowfall. Only issue so far is adjusting plow angle. May have to make some adjustments to tensioner and arm itself as it doesn’t move smoothly.

Legos for adults
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven’t used it in snow yet, BUT….I found it easy enough to assemble. Some extra bolts, some bolts are mislabeled but general directions are clear. Best to lay out all parts with part diagram and then use instructions. I found using directions less and more common sense had me rolling faster, so use instructions more as visual reference. I am not very mechanically inclined so I found this simple enough. What is odd is a lot of bolts are threaded so they don’t secure tight, but that may be by design as there is a lot of abuse and rattling friction from moving snow.

Really Moves Snow!
Quick answer; teamed up with an XT1, tire chains and two suitcase weights, this plow can really move snow. No, it cannot move a couple feet of iced over drifts, but for most of your snow removal duties, this attachment will make you love your Cub.
Out of the box, as others have mentioned, the plow is quite heavy. I’ve had it a couple of seasons now, and you do learn how to attach and detach the plow without lifting. The trip spring was missing on mine and the handle was not drilled where it attaches to the plow tube. I had a drill press and took care of the problem, but I did wonder about the folks that might not have tools available. Cub sent me a spring in less than a week, so that was taken care of, but the out of the box experience was nearly a failing grade.
Putting it all together wasn’t so bad, but I did have to remove my existing bumper and a quick attach replacement bumper is a chunk of change, so that didn’t make me happy. I modified my bumper to fit into the quick attach, but again, I wondered about the people unable to take a band saw and a drill press to their old bumper. For those with such tools, it is very easy to cut the ears off the bumper and adapt it to slide into the quick attach, so don’t send your old bumper to the scrap yard.
Using the plow is an absolute dream. I have a gravel lane 500’ long, so I set the shoes for about ¼” depth using plywood as a gauge. I use rear tire chains and two Cub suitcase weights on my XT1. The plow does not flop over under normal duty and will easily move snow up to the point where the tires start to slip. Mind you, I have chains, weights and I also remove the mower deck for additional ground clearance. I have never gotten the Cub stuck, and with the tight turning radius and easy angle change of the plow, I can clean the property in no time. The trip spring has saved me from damage when hitting surprise objects, so it is a necessary evil.
Downsides, yes, the plow will flop over if the snow is heavily iced, deep and can’t be moved. I have not been able to use mine to move gravel or dirt, but the tires also slip when attempting that task. It’s not an issue of the plow, but the XT1 also has some cold weather issues with the PCV system causing ice to form in the carburetor in sub-zero (-15C) weather. The PCV vent is in filtered air, and humid blowby gas accumulates under the air filter after the engine is shut down. The humid air freezes, and then actual ice cubes form inside the carburetor throat. The easiest solution after a sub-zero run is to open the hood, and remove the air filter while the Cub cools down so that the moisture from the PCV escapes. Obviously, put the filter back on before starting your next run. Another tip, if you experience slow cranking, remove and clean the starter bolts for a good ground connection to the starter.
Final score, it’s five stars! Sure, there are negatives, but most snowy mornings, (even today!) I start up my XT1, and dust off the property before my breakfast tea has had a chance to kick in. The little Cub is fast, turns tight, and the plow quickly changes directions with a click of the handle. In the Winter, this is my go-to machine and I’m glad it’s sitting in the barn ready to go. The plow was good, cost-effective snow removal.

Not real happy
I bought this to replace the basic plow attachment so I wouldn't have to keep getting out of the seat to change blade angle. I stallation was pretty straight forward and fast-attach works well. Unfortunately, like so many other reviewers, I've had tremendous difficulty with the function of the plow itself. The two biggest issues are:
1) the blade lift cable is too long or not engineered correctly. I actually had to drill additional holes in the bracket to to compensate for lack of adjustment. Even with that modification it's a fight every time I want to lower the blade. It typically works 1/2 tries at the beginning of the job, but after raising and lowering a few times the pin just doesn't want to release. I finally just removed the mechanism and have to hold the blade up manually.
2) flop spring is too loose and has limited adjustment. A little bit of wet snow or a compressed patch from someone driving on it, and the blade just flops. The slightest bit of resistance and it gives up. I don't know how anyone is possibly moving dirt or gravel with this thing.

No good deed goes unpunished!!
I bought the Fast Attach plow blade at the end of Dec 2021, for my XT1 50" Garden Tractor (under 2 years old].
We have a 125ft driveway and my 65 year old husband still shovels by hand. This year I though I'd rescue him from further shoulder damage and buy the plow. And assemble it myself.
1. The first problem was that the control levers and cables were missing from the factory. That took 2 weeks-plus to receive and had one snow storm while waiting. Finally attached the cables during single digit temps outside, in preparation of more snow. There is so little margin for adjustment on the cables. I have the nuts located far down the cable, with barely any thread left on the shaft, before they will work. I'm sure after one year, the cables will have stretched slightly where they won't work. I'll have to drill another hole in the brackets to fasten the S-pin to shorten the cable.
2. I cannot get the angle displacement to work. There is a lot of play in the control arm, the shoulder screw cannot tighten any more and the Teflon washer is too thin. Needless to say, there is too much play to change the angle of the blade. I have to get off the mower and kick it into place while holding the control lever with one hand.
3. I've adjusted the plow blade trip spring countless times. The manual says max 1 1/4" between end of screw and top of blade. The blade trips with barely 2" of snow, with even 1/2" distance from end of screw and top of blade. So frustrating that I have to keep holding the control arm to raise the blade slightly, to prevent the blade from tripping.
4. Lastly, I cannot reach the control arms. They are so far away from the mower that when I reach to get them, the stupid safety switch cuts the engine. (I regret not installing the toggle switch I bought last summer to by-pass the safety. Get rid of the safety switch. If a person diesnt know any better to not get close to the blades when the engine is running, they ought not be using a mower...of any kind). Any way, I am 5'-4" , 140 lbs female and cannot reach the control arm to raise the blade, without leaning way over the mower.
5. I want this to work, but between assembling the blade myself (very poor instructions) and all these adjustments, I've spent 40 hours and am still trying to justify the expense. I will say this, when buying snow chains, pay the extra cost for those that have the laterals 2" on center not 4". Being able to ride up our inclined driveway was the only satisfaction I got from this purchase.

Good looking plow but incomplete assembly kit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plow looks good. Only a couple chances to use it so far, but it seems to function as expected on a ~150ft gravel driveway with a slight decline in it. I will say that attaching was problematic. As others have noted, the plow tongue didn’t fit properly into the mount receiver on the frame. Had to file open the holes in the receiver for fast attach bolt to fit through. Also the spring assembly kit was incomplete and I had secure alternate nuts to make the spring assembly work. Lastly, the cable in the plow lift handle was too long and I had to wrap the end around the spring loaded release lever instead of relying on the “S” lock as designed.

Terrible design and engineering
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought the fast attach all season blade so I could control directional angles from the seat as well as quickly attach and remove the blade. Neither one of these presumed advantages work properly. I even had a small engine mechanic assemble and install exactly as per the written instructions. After 3 hours, the blade is on but not working correctly other than raising up and down. I am very disappointed with this product. The extra money charged for the fast attachment all season blade is a complete and utter waste of money.

Love it!!
Bought this about 2 months ago and of course it didn't snow! but this past week it did...it worked great!, Remember to have the suitecase weights on it, and the chains...big help. The only thing was the cable to lift the plow was not always working...might just need an adjustment, but worth it for me, since my driveway is big

Be the envy of your neighbors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a show stopper, the UPS driver watched for a full minute in jaw dropped amazement. All the “full size” plows did double takes and stared with awe & envy. The assembly is a little complicated and time consuming. I’d recommend doing it before it has started snowing, but once it’s together it’s easy to use. I had some slight difficulty with a wet and heavy snow where the plow kept flipping face down due to the weight but otherwise it’s been a fun little plow and made clearing the driveway a blast.

Great little plow
I'm reticent to publish a "full" review of this plow blade at this juncture, as I have only used it a couple of times in light duty snow removal, but I'm duly impressed enough to offer some initial impressions and tips for prospective buyers.
The kit arrived intact, well packaged and inclusive of all parts necessary for assembly. The provided assembly/instruction manual is well laid out and fairly straightforward. Assembly parts were thoughtfully grouped and packaged. As is always the case with "insert part A into part B" instructions, there was some initial head scratching and confusion during unpacking and parts layout, but advanced review of the assembly steps sorted out most concerns. Total assembly time was around 3 hours. Although heavy, I was able to assemble the unit without assistance. This unit was installed on a 2022 CC XT2 GX54D using the existing "FastAttach" bracket on the tractor (the kit comes with a retrofit FastAttach bracket set if needed). The only significant issue I had was with the angle adjustment bracket which was factory assembled backwards, but easily resolved.
Tip #1: lubricate bearing surfaces prior to [final] assembly (not always pointed out in the manual). I used waterproof Marine grease.
As to performance, this plow is absolutely capable of pushing some very heavy wet snow providing your tractor is set up properly. I'm counting myself fortunate the XT2 GX54D is a beast of a machine to start with. I removed the mower deck, and installed good quality rear tire chains. Thus far I see no need for supplemental weights (although that may change), and have not had to use the diff lock. We have a relatively flat 200' U-shaped paved driveway. The ability to angle the plow from the seat is a Godsend. My only complaint with this plow is the single relief spring. It is necessary for a number of reasons, but it is woefully weak despite being set to full tension. I have supplemented this by adding a truck grade rubber tie-down strap to mitigate premature rollover (see photo)....not perfect, but better than it was without.
There is a learning curve to effectively use the plow, and understanding its limitations. In the short time I've had with it thus far I can honestly say it has exceeded my expectations, but the NE winter has just begun. The good thing is, it's almost enjoyable pushing snow with this tractor and plow combination.
Tip #2: make sure to properly set the skid shoes to minimize shave plate drag.
Tip#3: check/tighten bracket bolts, skid shoe nuts, lever screws after first couple of operations.
