EFI WHAAATT??? Game Changer!
I have only had it a few months. still only 5 hours on it. Doing the first oil change today but it is comfortable to ride, the EFI makes it very easy starting. hopefully ends my monthly carburetor cleanings and other issues you have to deal with on a Carburetor tractor but we will see how well it holds up. Bluetooth phone app is cool. you have to log in every time so that is fun but I like feature. Still early but so far I love it!

Easy to operate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a little over a year ago.It has ran great since day one.The only problem I have had with it is the location of the throttle handle.Mine was broken on the third use of the mower by being hit by my knee as I was getting on the mower.I have not been able to locate or order a new one to replace it yet.Other than the throttle handle location..everything else is great!

180 Hours so far...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The XT1 replaced my Toro Wheelhouse 20 year old riding mower. Two years into the journey, I've enjoyed the mower. Lesson learned on the "newer" mower with all the safety switches - clean your mower and understand how the safety switches work. Normal maintenance of changing oil / filter - check air in tires - clean air filter - I hope to get another 18 years on this one!!!!

Engine design flaw overshadows nice funtions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 2015. Different metals used between head cover and block: the gasket cannot accommodate different expansion rates and leaks. Deck cumbersome to get on and off. Wide deck, intuitive foot controls and service notification app are handy. Disappointing after the excellent build and work our Cub Cadet Self-Propelled push mower has given us for 14 years and counting.

Turning, LED head lights, accessories
Bought this lawn mower around the beginning of summer, did some research on the new design, new engine, etc. I liked what I seen and went for it. So far no complaints the machine is nice it took me Hour and 15 mins to mow my lawn with a self propelled mower. Now with the new Cub Cadet 20 mins no problems. Even made some extra $$$ with it this summer 2015. Thanks to Tractor Supply Co. for selling me this nice riding lawn mower.

Nice tractor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tractor is dependable, looks nice and cuts pretty well. I totally am using this in a terrible situation. I'm cutting 4 acres of thick rough grass and a hilly yard . The power is excellent as it has never bogged down. I knew this wasn't going to work when I bought it, I just wanted to get thru the season. For a smaller yard with a nice lawn this would do a very good job.

Re-thinking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 2 years ago. This mower is NOT durable.I mow approx.1 flat acre every 10 days for 7 months of the year. I have to fix something on it every time I use it. I'm leaning towards a different replacement due to the lack of reliability.My son has one identical to this one, It's also very unreliable.I also have a zero turn RTZ46. It's a little better but not by much.

Makes life easier
Well into its third summer, I appreciate the design and ease of use. Service is a breeze, the turning circle is small, and the hydrostatic transmission is wonderful when navigating small areas. Thoughtful feature includes a service reminder which tracks running hours, and easy access to all filters and lube points. It's obvious that the design team has actually cut grass, and incorporated some great design elements.

Good tractor

Also I customized the snow thrower with 4 wheels with ball bearings so it can turn easily in the snow
And it would be great if it had 4 wheel drive and to make chains for the front tires and a switch to shut off the lights

Hard to keep a level cut
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have taken it to 2 different authorized repair shops, will cut level for maybe 2 cuts. Then it goes back to cutting uneven. Air pressure is at recommended psi. I have a pretty flat yard to cut. Bought extended warranty but was told that it didn’t cover uneven cuts. Until it can stay cutting level on a consistent time period, I wouldn’t recommend this mower.

Great Lawn Tractor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I baught my tractor to take care of just my lawn, but since then i have ended up mowing the 2 neighbor's on both sides of me because their non-Cub Cadet mowers have broken. Other than normal blade replacement and oil and filter replacement I havent had to do a thing to it. If I every do wear it out I will definately by another. Maybe a Zero turn this time.

My only complaint is that it does not cut my lawn evenly. I have made all measurement checks to the cutting deck but never have improved uneven cutting. I just have to mow criss cross and then straight , but I still like it mostly!

Great Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this mower for 3 years and have only one issue. The factory blades are thin and wont take any abuse. A heavy aftermarket set fixed the problem, and I have had zero issues otherwise.Also it steers so easy it's like it has power steering. The feature that lets you lock reverse mowing for the duration beats the push every time on other brands.

Durable and reliable
Bought my XT1 in 2017 and so far so good. I don't mow lawns with it but rather weeds, some of which can be 30 inches tall and on a slope. 3/4 acre. Also do the same with my folks old place that is in rural Idaho but has much thicker and taller weeds. I try to not do a full 42" swath but this mower does a great job even though it really takes a beating. I am impressed to say the least! Great mower!!

Excellent low cost mower

Best Lawn Care Purchase!

Almost zero turn!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this about three years. I lost a bolt holding the seat, but that was an easy fix. The mower turns on a dime and does a great job. The undercarriage is easy to level, something I’ve done several times. The blade washing feature is nice as well. Overall, a good mower especially for the price compared to Deere and a few others!

First impressions great.

The EFI starts really easy even when cold. The only complaint is that the side discharge throws the grass too far. I’m betting I won’t be complaining once I put a bagger on this mower.

speed and turning radius.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the XT1 42. I hadn't cut my grass in 3 weeks so it was thick and tall. With the Craftsman 46" I had I would have had to remove the deck cover to mow and put it back on and mow again to mulch the clippings. The Cub Cadet blew through the thick grass like a hot knife through butter and left absolutely NO clippings behind WITHOUT the mulch kit, I was ecstatic. I was also very impressed by it's speed and turning radius. I have at least 10 large spruce trees and I would usually push mow around them to reach underneath them. The Cub Cadet's 42" deck and tight turn radius took care of that. It started right up after I got it home and runs flawlessly. I'm very impressed with it and I'm glad I spent the extra money because it cuts the grass evenly and looks great when I'm done. I have 1.5 acres with lots of trees and actually look
forward to cutting my lawn

Great quality, easy to use

Change the oil, grease it, and change the air filter, and that’s it. Just operates flawlessly. Haven’t had to change the blades yet but I don’t anticipate difficulty. Oh, and it cuts grass like a champ and maneuvers like a cat. :-)

It says Fuel Injection on the Hood!

Starts at the push of button, lots of power and uses hardly any more gas than my old 21 inch personal pace walk behind. Quickly mows the lawn, pulls a sweeper in the fall, have used it to pull up brush and old poles. Great value. Convinced my boss to buy one.

Best mower I've owned

Excellent features and reliable.

I have an acre of grass, half of it on an incline, that needs to be mowed at least once a week from April to November. I have owned Craftsman, Dayton and Toro lawn tractors and this is the best of the lot.

Awesome so far!

1. The steering. It is so tight and smooth it's like having power steering.
2. The reverse switch that allows continuous reverse mowing.
3 The throw of the deck. It may be far for to some, but it helps prevent clumping.

Best Buy I Could Make
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my first Cub Cadet in March. I feel it’s more machine than the green and yellow one I had before. Cut is a vast improvement. At this level mower it is the only one I found that had cruise control. That was something I really wanted with my yard size but I did not think I could find it in my budget. The higher seat back is a pleasant surprise. Never paid much attention to it but it really feels better with that support. The turn radius is awesome. When I mowed for the first time this year, this Cub made my yard immediately look as tho I had been mowing for a month. I usually mow twice a week because I am that guy who hates a shaggy spot in my yard. What I used to co spider a chore I will now be doing because I enjoy it. Just bought the mulch plug and I will be installing that in a couple weeks. Anxious to see the lawn then. Thanks Cub Cadet. Well done.

LOVE this TRACTOR

Powerful and the turn radius is super tight for around trees. Fits through my single gate fence with room to spare. The seat is comfortable on my bad back and steers like a dream. The reverse cutting is an AWESOME plus!!!

Best I ever owned

Incredible lawn tractor
