Been Happy with performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The model I chose looked the closest to my Cub Cadet - My husband purchased my tractor in 2006 after a tornado took our original one. it has a 42"mowing deck - I have 400 hours and it is still working great. I hit 70 yrs young so I appreciate a great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really thought Cab Cadet was the leader in quality mowers. I am not impressed. After owning only a bit over a year, this thing leaks oil and the transmission seals broke (luckily the seals were a warranty repair). Still leaks oil; just not impressed at all.

Great value
I compared many brands before purchasing the cub cadet. The Kohler engine, features, warranty beat out the others hands down. After the first use I was impressed, 25 hours later I am still very impressed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great value in a reliable riding lawn mower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wore out my eight year old cadet mower and replaced it with an LT 42. It cuts much better and has more power. Bagging system is easier to install and remove. Starts much easier with automatic choke. Lever to engage cutting system is better, too.

Best I have owned and I am 76 years young.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although It is not perfect, it is close. I have found that some nuts and bolts were not tight and if I leave the key in the ignition, even though it is turned off, the battery will be dead in 24 hours. Not a big deal. I just take the key out.

Bad Belt Guard Design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this product 4 months ago and have to repair it twice (the belt smoke and break when you engage the blades). Maybe the repair shop did not do a good job so they have to redo. I hope it was nothing major but it took 6 weeks to fix.

Nice mower

It's dangerous
Tractor roles period. Both my father and husband have had bad experiences on this thing. After my dad I went and bought chains and weights and it still spins out can't cut slops that are almost flat and now it's been rolled and I need to buy parts to fix it and it's only 12 months old.

Powerful engine

Best mower I've owned.

Cuts nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only issue is kohler engine has a bad carburetor system. When off, gas fills the cylinder and then ends up in the oil. I’ve had to change oil twice within 5 running hours. I have to let fuel tank run out before each parking.

Plenty of Power
Operated a little over two hours. (Two cuts each on two lawns) As my old John Deere bit the dust my grass got pretty dense and high. The XT1 tackled the cut without any struggle. The Deere would have struggled. Love the steering, seat, location of fuel tank. Nice even cut.

Gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to do only a quarter of an acre of grass but it is on a slope that has to be done side to side. It takes about 15 minutes which used to take about 45 minutes of brutal mowing with a conventional push mower.
