Great machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a dream. Turned my 2.5 hrs walk mow into a 20 minute joy ride! Just wish some of the ridiculous features could be removed. I can't get off the seat without the machine shutting off? Why? Utterly ridiculous. Would prefer a shifter to two pedals for reverse forward but I guess what the people want no longer matters, it's what the maker wants. Overall, still happy to not be using a walk behind anymore.

You can't always get what you want.

Review after 2 years
I purchased this mower (XT2-LX46) back in 2022. DOM was June 2022. This is a well made unit. Powerful, easy handling and easy to service at season end. Two things that irritate me and will do so for as long as I own the mower. The first is somewhat minor, NO grease nipples on the front wheel spindles. Wheels have to be removed in order to grease these locations. Dealer says look again, they are there. THEY ARE NOT. Another bummer that I didn’t know about is the K47 hydrostatic trans. NO drain plugs and impossible to service. Torq Tuff recommends first change at 50 hours and then every 200 after. Wheels and trans has to be removed in order to service. Many reviews on YouTube have commented that this is a serious issue with the K46 and its’ long term dependability and reliability. I’ve been told that CubCadet’s largest competitor, John Deere is using this in one or more of their mowers. I can’t understand why designers and manufacturers don’t realize that these issues should be dealt with. Bummer, Cub Cadet!

Overall look and comfort and quality
Beautiful well built machine. I haven’t had it long enough to give a full review. But I am definitely the envy of my neighbors. Cut is excellent, seat is very comfortable. Electric deck engagement works flawlessly. And fast and responsive with the hydrostatic transmission
