Good Homeowners Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had mine for several years now. Tuned it up a couple years ago and just clean off the air filter and put in a new spark plug each spring. My only complaint is they need to redesign the hydro pedal mechanism so it doesn't trap grass and debris. As this occurs, it doesn't want to give much reverse power. They you have to lower the deck and get between the floor of the tractor and the deck which is a PITA. Happens too quickly again after doing this.

The XT1 LT42 is a great mower!
After owning John Deere for many years I tried a Cub. As compared with my Deere the turning radius is outstanding! I was very happy with its cut. Put a much more polished look to my lawn. Superior cut! I have a large lawn and by the end of mowing the Deere had me wore out. The Cub Cadet handles much like my sedan. Smooth ride, easy to steer, very comfortable seat. At the end of mowing I don’t feel wore out! Good job with the handling and cut! Cub Cadet has a new customer! I received a mower for providing this testimonial. Life and Back Saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy one of these after we moved from the city to a 1.5 acre property out in the country. We first cleared the land the summer before and I was managing it with a push mower. Once the next summer set in, I realized I couldn't keep up. By the time I got my hands on this mower, we had weeds that were 6 feet tall. This beast managed to knock it all down. Granted, I had to pull the deck all the way up and take things slow and careful, but she pulled it off, only stalling out a few times which I can chalk up to user error. We'll see how it holds up after a few more seasons now that I keep the property at a manageable level. All in all, so far, I'm very satisfied with performance.

Great little mower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little mower for a small plot of land. My quarter acre arguably doesn’t need a rider, but this mower makes it a breeze. The intelipower is a great feature too. Easy to handle, and the best feature is you can set it to back up with the blades on, so if you don’t have kids like me you can just mow without worrying about turning the blades on and off.

I like this product!
I've been using this product since September 2023. The steering is great, has a lot of power, nice features such as not having to shift gears to go faster, cuts in close to fences and trees. Use of this product has cut down my grass cutting time in half when compared to old rider mower. Cup holder is in odd place; I have to turn behind me to reach it versus a direct outward stretch.
