Good Mower, Fast Ground Speed
Received this mower at the end of the cutting season in October . The mower is fast, turns sharp and has many cutting height adjustments . I can cut my whole yard about 20 minutes quicker with this mower. I cut about an acre and a half. Can't wait to see how this engine does in the thick spring grass the intellipower engine should help me in the heavy grass . • I received a mower for providing this testimonial. Quit moving after 12 hrs of use
I bought this mower and was only able to mow my property 3 times before it just stopped moving. It would run but now move forward or backwards. It’s ridiculous that I have to figure out a way to take it somewhere to get it fixed. I don’t think a brand new mower should have this or any issue after 12 hrs of use. Very disappointed. I thought cub cadet was better.

I have had this mower for several months. It looks sharp, mows great no problems cutting grass. The mower has noticable more speed than the other mowers i have had. This mower also turns alot sharper than other mowers i have had.

Texture is good but deck is trash
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After religiously cleaning and maintaining this machine, the spindles and idler pulleys have all but locked up at only 63 hours. Would it be that much of a problem to put grease zerk fittings on them to allow lubrication? Cheap way out…junk

BEST TRACTOR EVER!

In less than hour after its arrival, I was flying around our upper acre like a low flying plane laughing with joy the entire time. It reduced mowing time from two long tedious hours with a gas-driven hand-mower to twenty minutes of unbridled pleasure!
It cuts so close, that weed whacking is no longer needed. Plus, the incredible, one-of-a-kind, self-cleaning mechanism is absolutely fabulous, and immediately restored the blades and underdeck of this beauty to like new condition.
My neighbors love that it's quieter than my old hand-mower. I love that it's as comfortable a ride as my cushy SUV.
Having grown up driving tractors from age nine on my grandparents' farm, I know tractors, and knew exactly what I wanted and needed. After thoroughly researching and comparing all specs online, I then test-drove nearly everything viable within this range including John Deere, Murray, RYOBI, Troy-Bilt, to name but a few, before choosing the Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 Intellipower.
Thanks to nearly a month of shopping, and several weeks of use now, I can confidently state this is the BEST TRACTOR EVER! I highly recommend it, and am now looking forward to adding a snow plow for winter. This baby does it all with ease and beauty!

Amazing and Beautiful
I've never owned a riding mower before and used a walk behind mower for 11 years as a homeowner. I always had to time when to cut my grass and kind of dreaded it on hot days because I was walking a half acre and it took a while. I ended up getting this mower and honestly I wish I had a riding mower years ago. My lines in the yard instantly look way better than they ever did when I used my mower or even when I borrowed my neighbor's professional walk behind. My time spent cutting is way down, I don't dread cutting my grass anymore on hot days, and I can cut any day I want because this mower doesn't clump up my grass when its slightly damp (unlike my walk behind used to).
As far as the mower itself, I've had zero issues (knocks on wood) mechanically with anything and I have had it since the fall. I can adjust the power as needed to get a stronger cut if my grass is higher, and engaging and disengaging the actual cutting is easy. Everything is adjustable so I can scoot the seat back if one of my kids wants to sit with me and go for a ride too. I have good control with my pedals for speed control so going around tight corners or landscaping is a non-issue. All the headaches I used to deal with in terms of cutting my grass are not missed.
