Nice tiny mower but couple of issues
I’ve had this for 5 years now. When I make turns, it seems to make an uneven cut. ( not the end of the world) oil changing is the worst! Oil all over the place. It’s almost comical to do. Finally, I’ve had to clean the carburetor twice now in the years I’ve owned it. I always store it empty (installed a fuel line shut off) but I’ve still had to remove the carburetor and soak it In carburetor cleaner. I even run super unleaded, but it’s still an issue. The mower itself runs tight circles and handles well. I have the bagger option. I would rate this a 3.5 out of five because of the issues I’ve had. (I’ve become very familiar with removing the carburetor….

Comfortable good so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago so far so good first Rider. Only disappointment and it's not a deal breaker but it has no oil filter which is when you look online every single one I found or looked at YouTube and otherwise have an oil filter. Curious why they drop the oil filter must be in the most recent ones they built. Even the spec sheet on this page says it has an oil filter.

Better even than expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just mowed yesterday for the first time. We got this because my push mower is aging and so am I, mostly, but also in the hopes of mowing and collecting leaves taking less time. Wider deck + larger bagging capacity should equal less time spent. I definitely need to figure out a more efficient striping pattern because it's obviously less maneuverable than a push mower, but it was great. Plenty of power for my ⅓ acre. Stripes look great, whole thing took an hour maybe vs 90+ minutes with the push mower. Very pleased so far.

Poor quality
Couldn't be more disappointed iny very expensive cub cadet purchase. Luckily the mower had a year year parts and service warranty. Unfortunately my mower spent more time with the mechanics over those two years than at my house. And now that I've owned it for more than 2 years, I pay for those repairs or keeps needing. It now has a permanent rattle and sounds like it will fall apart. Such poor quality, and so expensive.

Great features... but!!!
The cutting and convenience are great, but the steering is horrendous bordering on dangerous. Steering gear to splined shaft slips causing a no turn situation. Have run into things and almost rolled over because mower did not turn when mowing near a burm.. have replaced steering gear once, and just ordered another gear and the shaft as well. The gear replacement withstood one mowing.

Disappointed to Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mower last summer due to a health issue and so my wife would not have to push mow our yard. My backyard is fenced in and the gate openings are 32”. After reviewing all the the features of this mower, hydrostatic drive, the ability to mow in reverse and deck size I decided to purchase it sight unseen (due to COVID restrictions) The dealer brought the mower to my house the same day I bought it! He went over the controls.
The next thing was to give it a try. I was so disappointed in the way this mower cut!!! It’s hard to describe how bad my grass looked. I was so disappointed I almost called the dealer to come and get it.
I knew something had to be wrong with the way the mower was setup. I found in the manual the little blurb about forward and aft adjustment of the mowing deck. My deck was an 1.5” out of adjustment. I adjusted the deck to the setting found in manual. It was a amazing the difference in the way the mower cut after those adjusts. My grass never looked better. I mulch my grass all year until fall. I bought the bagger for the leafs.
I recommended anyone to buy this little mower and the bagger attachment.
Scott.

cub cadet to the rescue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my yard, its small size makes cutting my lawn a breeze .Before it was a struggle to use my push mower without becoming exhausted even though it is a small yard. With my cub cadet 30 inch mower I actually enjoy keeping my yard in the shape we can be proud of.

Nice mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With one season of use this mower has proven reliable, efficient and time saving. I've seen other reviews on the internet with people saying it doesn't mow even, but that's just not true. If you maintain even tire pressure, and adjust the deck, and mow at a reasonable speed this machine provides nice even results. I recommend buying the mower cover, and using ethanol free fuel. I bought an extra blade, and change the blade every two mows with a freshly sharpened blade. Your lawn will thank you! Dull blades damage the leaf, breaking the stem it instead of cutting it - and contributing to uneven grass length if the grass height is long. To change the blade I simply make sure the deck is at highest setting, lift the front wheels onto short car ramps (you could use cinder blocks) and blade access is easy. Be sure to torque the blade properly. The only thing I've found of poor quality is the deck wash fitting, I bought a replacement and both the original and the replacement leak terrible, flooding the top of deck with water - and the deck has no water drain holes, so I have to blow off the water using a leaf blower. The turn radius is great, ergonomics are good for my 6 foot height, and the cup holder is appreciated on those hot days. It's unnecessarily complicated to mow in reverse so I don't use that feature. Buy this rider!

My quiet CC30H putt-putt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've named my riding mower, "CC30H putt-putt" because how quiet it is. Great for lawns under 1 acre. Great on gas. Professional cut. Very satisfied. I plan on purchasing the bagger attachment for the fall

Cub cadet- excellent machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome machine. After much research on other brands, I selected Cub Cadet. It arrived on time, was very easy to assemble and stated right up. I purchased a bagger and this was also easy to assemble. Have used this four times already to get my lawn ready for the winter. I picked up leaves and my lawn has never looked better. I can’t wait until spring and summer to start cutting my grass. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent Little Riding Mower
So far, so good. Great riding mower for smaller yards. Fits through a 34" gate with plenty of room to spare. Excellent job cutting the grass, the lawn looks great when finished. Easy to operate and mows in reverse. Tight turning radius, which is good and bad. Cuts close to obstacles but if the wheel is turned all the way the front tires will "plow" and cause the mower to stop moving forward, that takes a little bit to get used too. Only had the mower for a few months so time will tell on reliability and durability. Has a three-year warranty. Our local dealer was fantastic!

A joy not a chore
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has I gotten older with my COPD and back problem getting the best of me, I purchase this riding mower to help me cut my lawn. Now mowing my lawn is a joy not chore. I rent my apartment so my lawn is small. it's part of my lease that I have to maintain my lawn. It was cheaper for me to purchase this then hire someone to mow my lawn since I am on a tight budget. So thank you Cub Cadet for giving my the credit this riding mower.

Good mower but definitely has some issues
I really like the mower, but it has some issues. The main one being that the steering will slip. This causes the mower to not necessarily go where you want it to, and the potential to hit things. It also causes the steering wheel to not be in alignment with the wheels. I have changed all the steering components to no avail. this is pretty frustrating as I bought the Cub Cadet on its good reputation, and I am running into something that does not work properly that should be a no brainer...when you turn the wheel, the mower should turn, and this is not always the case.

CC30H - The Sweetest Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mowed my lawn for the first time today with my new CC30H lawnmower. It's perfect for me! It's easy to handle and easy to operate. The instructions in the operator's manual are clearly explained. My grass was very high and for the first cut of the season the lawnmower met the challenge perfectly! I'm so happy that I bought this model. I'm in my 70s and I didn't want a huge contraption.

performance
OUTSTANDING----I bought the CC30H in Jan. 2021 with the bagger and have used it 4 times. It does all that I want it to do, since I am 73 years old and have a large corner lot to mow. The bagger works really good for picking up leaves and grass, and it will be very good in the Texas heat.

Little workhorse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have a small 1 acre yard, slight incline in some areas. Areas of thick growth such as weeds, saplings, and small bushes. Have the mulching blade on the mower and it tackled everything we threw at it like it was nothing. 6'3" husband drives it with no problems for how small it is. No complaints here!

Way overpriced in my opinion
Had it a week. Mowed twice. Way overpriced, for what you get, in my opinion. Not sure why it is essentially the same price as the much larger, better equipped mower. Very small, obviously. That's the point. It does fit just about anywhere. All plastic body. Minimal deck height adjustment. It does mulch well. Small rear tires have lead to poor traction. Front end is very very light. Any incline leads to the front end wanting to come up. Seat is a chore to move forward and back. If you have a completely flat, level yard with no bumps or dips, at all, this may be the mower for you. I miss the anti-scalping wheels, size, and towing ability of my bigger Cub mower for sure. I haven't tried to tow my Cub trailer yet, but I can't imagine it's gonna be able to do much. I feel like hooking a trailer to it is gonna make the front end come up even more. Couple that with the rear tires providing little traction and I'm Gonna have to keep my older mower just to pull the trailer around. Really wish I had gone with the bigger mower. If storage space is an issue or you have a small gate or opening to get through this would be ideal. Other than that I suggest the larger mowers Cub offers.

Nice mower… but PTO seal leaked
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this mower and its compact size perfect for my half acre. However after only using the mower a handful of times the PTO seal let loose. I took the mower to a local shop and cub cadet covered the repairs. Just got it back and it is running great so far…

It fits our needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine does what it is intended to do. It cuts great on a level lawn and is easy to guide through the yard. It doesn’t offer a lot of power, so don’t expect to cut through knee high grass, but it handles the normal weekly cutting with ease.

Good so far
Have used 3 times on a small yard so far. Runs good and is comfortable to ride. Has a good tight turn radius. Only negative noted so far is the deck is fixed to the tractor (ie. does not “float”) so where the ground is unlevel then the cut finish is not as smooth as I would like.

Great compact mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for our yard which consists of several smaller patches spread far apart. This mower makes perfect sense for a yard that is too spread out for a push mower but too small to justify a full size mower
