Very Disappointed
I bought the CC 30 e about a month ago. To be completely honest its terrible. If the grass is a bit long or a little wet it does not have the torque to cut it, it shuts down. Extremely frustrating !! You have to cut at a snails pace.
That's not the worst part. I get the error 'contactor tips welded closed' every time I use the mower. When that happens the mower is dead in the water. Since it is electric its always in gear so when it shuts down its stuck wherever it happened.
I thought Cub Cadet was a quality brand....It is not, this mower is garbage.

Love My Mower!
Took me for a while to decide to spend this much $$$ on a small mower but I am so glad I did. Easy to operate and cut super clean. I was a bit skeptical about the power since it's electric but I can't tell the difference compared to the gas mower I owned before.
When the blade is not engaged, it is so quiet (quieter than a golf cart). Because of the springs under the seat, it rides so smooth. Turn ratio is so good and it's almost like a zero-turn mower.
I like the remaining battery display. What they advertise (up to 1 hour or 1 acre) has been right on. I normally have 23% left after mowing 3/4 of an acre lot.
There's not much maintenance since this is not a gas operated mower. It will save so much time and effort and this is the biggest reason I wanted to go electric.
I just love my mower and I never had this much fun taking care of the yard. I highly recommend

No gas or oil or spark plug.
Had it for two months. So far I love it. Don't start sometimes. Gives me a self test fault. Don't know if its me doing something wrong. But with several tries it starts up. My yard is pretty small. Don't take to long and its done. Have heart problems was told to get an riding mower. Check out the E-net. After three days of looking at all riders. This mower came up as the best to have. Get that starting problem figured out and I'll be a happy camper.

QUIET
I've had my "Cub" CC 30 e for two seasons now (barely a year old) and I still love it. No gas in my shed, lowest maintenance and easy to operate.
After using Greenworks lawn equipment, I knew I wanted an electric rider.
