NO HOUR METER!!?? Returning mower tomorrow
I just purchased Ultima ZT1 today and didnt realize this wasnt included until getting on here to look at information instead of using the paper book. Completely absurd that on almost a $4000 mower this wasnt included, ESPECIALLY when the warranty and maintenance factors are determined by this gauge!! Many other mower brands to choose from for comparable or better prices that DO include it. Shame.

Thank you all for your reviews. I am in the process of purchasing another zero turn lawnmower and I was really settling in on the zt1 54 but after reading the reviews about the hour meter I think I'm going to pass on this...esp because they put the place there for it but did not include it on a $4k lawnmower...to me that's just down right assholish and stupid and I'm really glad I read these reviews because just like that 1 guy I would have assumed it was one already up there...there's one on like my 2011 cub cadet but not one on this??

Hour meter for Ultima ZT1
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give it 4 stars due to it should have been installed directly from the factory especially if the cutout and wiring harness are already in place. Disappointing to see this level of shortcutting on such a big purchase like my Ultima 54" ZT1. Product performs as advertised and installation was a breeze; took less than 5 minutes.

Good product, terrible decision
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why you would manufacture such a machine and not install an hours meter?!? I could go on and on, but it's all obvious. I bought an oem and installed it myself on my 1 day old zero, but I feel bad for other customers that may not like to have to mess with this, it's just not right to leave such an important piece out.

Easy install
Same as most of the reviews if you spend good money for a mower the meter should come with. only have some difficulty getting the key and shaft select out was a tight fit. so I used a flat head screw driver to gently hold the tabs in, in order to remove the ignition switch. After that all went great and smooth. again main suggestion meter should be with the mower.

Hour meter zr1
Very happy with the meter itself, HOWEVER as a life long cub cadet owner and ive owned a phew .I was very disappointed after purchasing a 2023 ZR1 54 that there was no hour meter. A 3800 machine lacking a 50$ add on hour meter has got to be a slap in the face . If i weren't a loyal Cub owner it may have detoured me from the purchase..

Cub Cadet hour meter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meter working well so far. Wish it had a blank which would've made installation easier or mower came with it. Wish mower worked as well. Deck vibration's terrible. My RZT54 doesn't vibrate and it's 11 years old. I'm not happy!!! It'll need repair which means borrowing a trailer, taking it there, waiting for it to be fixed then borrowing trailer again to pick it up. Brand new mower wow! I should've kept the RZT going. It still is actually. Bad when an old mower runs better than a new one!!! Leaves more scrap behind then old one. Don't like the lights functioning all the time. Miss the star pattern on the old one. Makes changing blades easier. It's definitely faster and manuevers better. Wish I hadn't purchased!!!

Easy to install and had a nice surprise feature

I would give it less stars for that but it would not be fair to the actual product.

Buying an hour meter for a $4000.00 ZTI. Why?????

Meter Kit Sticker Not For Steering Wheel Ultima
The hour meter works but the sticker is not compatible with the Ultima steering wheel version of the mower I called CubCadet and they have no alternatives available so that means when you cut out the black to put in the new meter there’s no way to cover it up

Good addition for oil change intervals.
